TONSILSNo, thats the kennel name I have given to this dog, as he had his tonsils out a few weeks back, and we also suspect he had a virus, hence the time given to him to get back into training. He is a big unraced dog of some 82 pounds, and once again, I feel the wait is worthwhile.
He had his first spin over 2 bends around Thurles 10 days ago and recorded a 18.60. Last Thursday he had another 2 bend solo and recorded an 18.20, so he is obviously going the right way.
An official 4 bender this week, and then he will be entered in his first race, where I hope to have a touch on him. Needless to say, I am not revealing his name at this stage, but watch this space.
