Creaking Bones aka "Tonsils", just got the call to run in a 360 sprint tonight, as he was first reserve.. The Trainer thinks he is good enough to win a graded sprint so we shall see tonight. At least he HAS got his Trap. Just like waiting for a Bus, this dog game, you wait ages for a race for your dog, then you get 2 out on the same night. In only his second ever race, Tonsils blasted away from the Traps and won his sprint by 10.5 lengths, with a winning time of 19.75. This was a most convincing win, as there was no trouble behind him. Track record holder Rambling Jack, won his Open race sprint earlier in the evening, with a time of 19.69. Both the Trainer and Owners were suitably impressed, and will now be looking for Open Races for Tonsils on tight tracks , with short runs to the finish line.
